Board Positions Job Descriptions

Vice President of Baseball Operations (1 person)

  • Oversight of all In House Baseball, Travel Baseball and Fastpitch Operations
  • Initial point of contact for all parent questions around Baseball and Fastpitch leagues
  • Oversee the Assoc. VP of In House Operations to build out field assignments, league commissioners and schedules
  • Oversee the Assoc. VP of Travel Baseball Operations to build out Evaluations, Coach Selection, Winter Training and team activities
  • Oversee the Assoc. VP of Fastpitch Operations on field assignments and league activities
  • Point of contact for Adams Township
  • Schedule and run board meetings
  • First point of contact for all spending requests
  • First point of contact on all parent inquiries
  • Point of Contact for Community Events such as Dick’s Shop Day

Assistant Vice President, In-House Operations (1 person)

  • Select Commissioners for all Baseball Leagues in Spring, Summer, and Fall
  • Build Field Schedule for all league practices and games for Spring, Summer, and Fall
  • Monitor Registration numbers and work with commissioners on team building
  • Manage lights schedule for all In House games and practices
  • Coordination of jersey and hat ordering and assignment with Director of Sponsorship

Assistant Vice President, Travel Team Operations (1 person)

  • Oversee Evaluations, Coach Selection, Winter Training and team activities for Travel Baseball
  • Act as main liaison between Travel coaches/parents and the board
  • Assist with travel budgets and tournament scheduling

Assistant Treasurer of Travel Teams (1 person)

  • Track all travel-team finances, tournament fees, and winter training budgets
  • Work directly with Treasurer on reporting and transparency

Registrar (1 person)

  • Create online registration for Spring, Summer and Fall baseball and softball
  • Monitor registration numbers and update board members

Field Maintenance Assistant (1–2 people – supports Director of Facilities)

  • Manage inventory of field dry and field chalk
  • Ensure commissioners and coaches know their field maintenance responsibilities and that fields are dragged after each use
  • Manage field maintenance equipment
  • Support coaches in making decisions on play/practice during inclement weather
  • Perform seasonal field maintenance

Equipment Manager (1 person)

  • Maintain all in-house and travel baseball and fastpitch equipment inventory
  • Annual baseball and softball ordering
  • Distribution and collection of all equipment bags for in-house and travel baseball
  • Point of contact for AD Starr/Dick’s Sporting Goods representative
  • Maintenance of all old and existing equipment at Callery Shed

Fundraising, Signs and Sponsors Coordinator (1–2 people)

  • Renew existing sponsors for the upcoming season and update logos
  • Connect with community for potential new sponsors
  • Manage signage for fields to ensure all field sponsors are represented
  • Coordinate jersey in-house jersey orders to ensure that team sponsors are represented

Uniforms and Spirit Wear Coordinator (1 person)

  • Work with vendor to coordinate uniform sizing and ordering
  • Organize uniform distribution
  • Work with vendor to coordinate Spirit Wear Sale 2× per year

Community Outreach Coordinator / Community Events Coordinator (1 person)

  • Create Community Events subcommittee
  • Seek and manage all Association Fundraisers
  • Work with Director of Sponsorships to build leads for potential sponsors
  • Plan and execute community events (Dick’s Shop Day, movie nights, etc.)

Concessions Co-Chair (1–2 people)

  • Assist current Concessions Chairperson to manage concession operations
  • Coordinate concession supplies
  • Help coordinate concessions schedule for the spring and summer

Umpire Coordinator (1 person)

  • Work with Bronco and Minor Commissioners to schedule umpires for all in-house games
  • Schedule Umpires for any home Travel games and tournaments, upon request
  • Recruit Middle School and High School players to umpire Minor Games (if applicable)
  • Schedule and run Umpire Clinic for all Middle School and High School players (if applicable)
  • Communication with all Umpires on rain outs and reschedules
