Minor Fall In-House (9u-10u)

Registration: : Registration is closed for the Fall 2023 Season  

What: Kid pitch league for 9- and 10-year-old players as of April 30, 2024. The pitching distance is 46 feet. All players must play a minimum of 2 innings in the infield. No player may pitch more than 2 innings during any game. 

Ages: Players who are 9 or 10 as of April 30, 2023  

Team Announcements: You will receive notification of your child’s team placement on or before August 25th ***(This date is subject to change based on Mars Baseball being able to identify a commissioner and coaches for teams in a timely manner) *** 

Practices: Practices will be scheduled for the week of August 30th and then held at the coach’s discretion once games begin. Teams will be scheduled to practice at least once before games begin. 

Practice Times: Practices will be scheduled as early as 5:30pm on Monday through Friday and as early as 9am on Saturday.  

Fall Opening Day: Tentatively will be Saturday, September 2nd.  

Season Length (games): As early as August 26th through October 21st. (Weather Dependent on end)  

Typical Game Schedule: We will make every effort to make sure that every team plays a minimum of 10 games (weather permitting). 

Games Per Week: During the first part of the season, teams will have two games each week to maximize the possibility of playing in good weather. 

Game Schedule: Games will be scheduled as early as 5:30pm on Monday through Friday, as late as 8:00pm Monday through Friday, and as early as 9am on Saturday.  

Practice and Game Locations: Adams 1&2 and Adams Township Park 

Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams without a formal player evaluation. The Commissioner will attempt to balance teams based on the age of the players and the known skill level of the players. 

Player Requests: We cannot guarantee player requests, other than siblings, in this league.  No requests to play for a certain coach are permitted. 

Costs: $120/$135 if player requests a Hat 

Equipment Provided/Equipment Needed: The league provides hats (if needed/purchased separately), jerseys and practice/game balls and protective gear for the catcher’s fielding position.  

Players will need to purchase/have a batting helmet, glove, and bat for sanitary and safety reasons. Players will also need to purchase gray baseball pants and cleats and may want to purchase a bat bag.
